Since 2010 Niklas Goslar works as an independent filmmaker in Munich. At the end of 2018 he finished his first documentary feature,
Mother of Tibetans on the life and work of the late Irmtraut Wäger, long-time chairwoman of German Aid For Tibetans.
The film won numerous awards at international filmfestivals around the globe.

His second documentary, a portrait of the Bavarian wood artist Ernst Gamperl, was screened on Servus TV Austria in 2021.
The film accompanies the artist and his Tree of Life project for 10 years.

Besides documentaries Goslar concentrates on the field of advertisement as well as image and promotional films.
He worked for renowned companies such as Médecins Sans Frontières, Hilti, BMW, TÜV SÜD, Haus der Kunst, Bavarian State Opera or The City of Munich.

Niklas Goslar, born 1978 in Munich, studied Film&Television and Cultural Studies at the Roehampton University in London.
During his studies he contributed to the internationally acclaimed film production of The Miracle of Bern
by director Sönke Wortmann. After his studies Niklas Goslar concentrated on his passion for documentary film
and began working at the documentary department of the internationally known Bavaria Film Studios in Munich.
Directly afterwards he decided to work with different independent directors and producers,
holding high responsibility positions such as production manager, assistant to director, assistant to producer,
assisting Editor as well as Second Camera and Sound Engineer on numerous national and international documentary film productions
produced by the TV Stations ARTE, BR, NDR, WDR, 3SAT, ZDF and ORF. Amongst others he majorly worked for
Filmkraft Filmproduction of Peter Heller, who since over 30 years concentrates his documentary volume mainly
on the neighbouring continent Africa.

Seit 2010 arbeitet Niklas Goslar als selbstständiger Filmemacher in München.
Ende 2018 hat Goslar seinen ersten langen Dokumentarfilm fertiggestellt, Mutter der Tibeter handelt von Leben und Wirken der Irmtraut Wäger,
langjährige Vorsitzende der Deutschen Tibethilfe e.V..
Der Film hat zahlreiche Preise auf internationalen Filmfestivals auf der ganzen Welt gewonnen.
 
Sein zweiter Dokumentarfilm, ein Portrait des Holzkünstlers Ernst Gamperl wurde 2021 auf Servus TV Austria ausgestrahlt.
Der Film begleitet den Künstler und sein Lebensbaum Projekt für 10 Jahre.
 
Neben Dokumentarfilmen konzentriert sich Goslar auf Image- und Projekt- Filme und Industrie-Werbung.
Er realisierte Filme für viele angesehene Firmen, unter anderem für Ärzte Ohne Grenzen, Hilti, BMW, TÜV SÜD, Inhorgenta,
Haus der Kunst, Bayerische Staatsoper oder die Landeshauptstadt München.
 
Niklas Goslar, geboren 1978 in München, studierte Film und Kulturgeschichte an der Roehampton University in London.
Noch während des Studiums arbeitete er bei der international bekannten Spielfilmproduktion Das Wunder von Bern
von Sönke Wortmann mit. Nach dem Studium widmete sich Goslar seiner Leidenschaft, dem Dokumentarfilm und arbeitete
zuerst in der Dokumentarfilmabteilung der Bavaria Film in München. Direkt im Anschluss bekleidete er bei zahlreichen
nationalen und internationalen Dokumentarfilmproduktionen des ARTE, BR, NDR, WDR, 3SAT, ZDF und ORF verschiedene
Positionen von Produktionsleitung, Regie-, Produzenten- und Schnittassistenz bis hin zu zweiter Kamera und der Rolle des Toningenieurs
bei verschiedenen unabhängigen Regisseuren und Produzenten wie bei Nanuk Film oder Preview Production, langjährig aber bei Filmkraft Filmproduktion
von Peter Heller, welcher sich seit über 30 Jahren dokumentarisch hauptsächlich auf den Nachbarkontinent Afrika konzentriert.
